SOUND AND SPACE and GONG THERAPEUTICS are absolutely thrilled to announce our 1st official public Solstice Celebration. This is our all time favourite festival of the year, celebrating the return of the sun.
EXPERIENCE A FULL NIGHT'S IMMERSION IN THE COSMIC VIBRATION OF NINE SACRED GONGS. Winter Solstice celebrates the returning of the SUN. To mark this special moment in the year we will be surrounding ourselves with the sounds of Gongs throughout the night until the Dawn Star rises bringing with it a new cycle in our calendar. We will be opening our Gong Puja in ceremony, offerings & prayer. Then our sounding will begin with the Gongs being played throughout the night as we lie, absorb and connect. During the night each person will have an opportunity to play the Gongs. Our ceremony will close at 7am.
A simple vegan / gluten free breakfast will be provided. Please do bring what you feel you will need for your comfort for the night e.g. bedroll, sleeping bag, blankets... There are some large cushions at the house, but we strongly advise you bring what you need to be as comfortable as possible, to do exactly as you need.
The Kitchen will be open during the night so you can help yourself to drinks. There is free parking in front of Florence House.
6.00pm - Arrive & settle
8.00pm - Supper - Please bring an organic vegan dish to share
9.00pm - Introduction to the Gongs
10.00pm - Ceremony - please be settled in & ready.
7.00am - Closing ceremony
8.00am - Breakfast
